The Student Government Association is seeking people to serve on various Relay for Life committees.  If you’re interested, please fill out the application and turn it into the SGA office by Friday, October 31st.

The first legislative session of the University Senate met Sunday, May 4, 2008 in the Yena Center Presentation Room.  At this meeting, the Senate approved a $28,000 budget for the 2008-09 fiscal year, confirmed President Atkins appointments of Marc Coda, Evan Lemoine, and Michael Paris to the Judicial Court, and enacted two legislative changes to the Association Bylaws fixing election procedures for the upcoming fall elections.  Speaker Long also announced the appointments of Meghan Slezak to Secretary of the Senate and Marc Coda to Parliamentarian of the Senate.  The Senate will resume it’s legislative sessions beginning in September.

The Student Government Association polls are officially open. Students can only vote once, but have until Thursday at 11:59 PM in order to cast this electronic ballot. If you do not like any of the candidates running, you may also write-in a candidate by clicking on the link on the side of the office name that says “Write In”. Enter in a name, and click submit!
